NGVLB Vent Line Breakaway – CNG Nozzle Safety Component
NGVLB Vent Line Breakaway – CNG Nozzle Safety Component
The NGVLB Vent Line Breakaway is a safety component designed for compressed natural gas (CNG) fueling nozzles. It protects the vent line connection between the fueling nozzle and the dispenser in case of excessive tension or accidental drive-away events.
Installed in the vent line circuit, the NGVLB automatically separates when abnormal pulling force is applied to the nozzle hose. This helps prevent damage to the nozzle, vent tubing and dispenser components while maintaining safe operation of the fueling system.
The compact and durable design ensures reliable operation in demanding refueling environments where repeated coupling cycles occur. The NGVLB is commonly used with NGV1 fueling nozzles such as CT1000 series models and other CNG fueling equipment requiring vent line protection.
Vent line breakaways are essential safety components in modern CNG and biomethane fueling infrastructure, helping station operators protect equipment and reduce maintenance costs.
